Games Global, a fresh enterprise dedicated to game development, has recruited a team of highly skilled individuals to lead the company.
The venture is backed by private financiers and is committed to creating and distributing games in legally permissible markets. The CEO, Walter Bugno, previously held a position at IGT, departing in May.
Bugno and the Chief Financial Officer, Tim Mickley, are now collaborating with a group of experienced professionals. Leila Goelz, formerly employed by The Stars Group, now oversees human resources and organizational development.
Theo Naicker, a veteran of the software firm Derivco, assumes the role of Chief Operating Officer. Kimberley Broad, who previously ensured compliance at Microgaming, now holds the same responsibility at Games Global.
Andrew Booth, a former game developer at Microgaming, is now responsible for game quality assurance. Julie Allison, a seasoned professional with a diverse industry background, leads the sales division.

These appointments follow Games Global’s agreement last month to acquire the Quickfire business from Microgaming.
The transaction is anticipated to finalize in the second quarter of 2022, with Games Global assuming control of the Quickfire game collection and the worldwide distribution rights for the progressive jackpot network.
Microgaming’s Quickfire business was among the initial casino content aggregators.
