BetComply Introduces ComplyCheck to the Dutch Market
This action aims to assist licensed providers in adhering to the Dutch Gaming Authority (KSA) regulations.
BetComply has launched a novel self-evaluation and auditing instrument, ComplyCheck, to support licensed operators in the Netherlands in meeting KSA regulatory mandates.
The tool, driven by SG Certified, functions by initially posing a set of inquiries to operators requiring documented proof, which the BetComply team subsequently examines upon submission.
BetComply will furnish a comprehensive analysis of the replies to pinpoint any domains where the operator might fall short of regulations and to guarantee alignment with any evolving guidance under development.
This emerging guidance will be a primary emphasis of the KSA’s regulatory endeavors this year, succeeding a report issued the previous year concerning the duty of care of Dutch-licensed online gaming providers.
Just last weekend, the KSA levied a penalty exceeding β¬19.6 million ($21.3 million) on Gammix Limited for functioning without a license.
βThe KSA has made it abundantly apparent that a genuine enforcement risk exists if licensed operators in the Netherlands are not proactive in furnishing their patrons with a duty of care,” stated Mike de Graaff, Chief Compliance Officer at BetComply.
βWith ComplyCheck, we eliminate the conjecture from fulfilling compliance obligations in an efficient and budget-friendly manner that harmonizes with the daily operations of the enterprise.β
