Americas Cardroom is holding a unique poker event on International Women’s Day to aid the struggle against breast cancer.
The competition, occurring on Wednesday, March 8th, will support the United Breast Cancer Foundation (UBCF). UBCF is a remarkable charity that gives financial aid to those fighting breast cancer, backs programs for kids affected by the illness, and assists in funding mammograms and reconstructive operations.
The event begins at 4:30 p.m. ET and has a $55 entry fee. For your buy-in, you are guaranteed a $10,000 prize fund and a $55 tournament entry to utilize in a later competition – essentially making this a free-to-play game for a wonderful cause! ACR will also be equaling the total prize fund in donations to UBCF.
To further champion this significant occasion, ACR professionals Katie Lindsay and Ebony Kenney will accompany Nick “Nicky Numbers” Lomo and Caitlin Comeskey on ACR’s Twitch stream throughout the day. They’ll be talking about the value of self-examinations and how to perform them at home.
In the previous year, ACR’s International Women’s Day tournament generated over $15,000 for charitable giving. Let’s make this year even larger!
Professional card shark Ebony Kenney, representing ACR, expressed enthusiasm for joining the upcoming International Women’s Day tournament. She remarked that the previous year’s ACR event was highly successful, and she was delighted to participate once more. Kenney conveyed her joy at competing with peers while contributing to a commendable initiative, eagerly confirming her involvement. She concluded by stating her satisfaction in belonging to this constructive and influential force for women in the realm of poker.
